Children’s Fiction (9-12)

The first half a term of the school year has flown by already, and children up and down the country are just itching to get their nose into a good book for the holiday. Here is a list of some of the best fiction books we’ve read (or re-read) recently.

They all sit in our ‘Ages 9 to 12’ section, but age recommendations are only ever a guide: some of these titles will be gobbled up by confident seven- and eight-year-olds too, and others will continue to be enjoyed into teenage years (and well beyond that, if we’re anything to go by…).
